The Role: Molecular Biologist

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct molecular biological experiments including DNA/RNA extraction, PCR, and cloning.
• Analyze and interpret experimental data, presenting findings to the research team.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including biochemists and bioinformaticians.
• Contribute to the preparation of research publications and presentations.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of applicable scientific literature and developments in molecular biology.

Required Qualifications:

• Master’s or PhD in Molecular Biology, Genetics, Biochemistry, or related field.
• Proven experience with molecular biology techniques such as qPCR, sequencing, and gene expression analysis.
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis software.
• Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team setting.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in genetic engineering techniques, CRISPR, or synthetic biology.
• Familiarity with good laboratory practices and quality control measures.
• Experience with bioinformatics tools and databases.
