Job Opportunities Available
We have a variety of positions available at Horizon Juvenile Center that cater to different skill sets and professional backgrounds. Below are the primary roles we are hiring for:
- Youth Care Workers
- Responsibilities include supervising residents, facilitating recreational and educational activities, and providing emotional support.
- Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; experience in youth services preferred.
- Program Coordinators
- You will be responsible for developing and implementing programs that promote social and emotional development.
- Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field; minimum of two years of experience in program management.
- Clinical Psychologists
- Conduct assessments and provide mental health counseling to youth.
- Qualifications: Doctoral degree in Psychology, licensed to practice in the state, and experience with adolescents.
- Educators / Tutors
- Teach academic subjects and provide individualized support for various learning needs.
- Qualifications: Teaching credential or Bachelor’s degree in Education; experience working with at-risk youth is a plus.
- Administrative Support Staff
- Assist with daily operations, manage schedules, and support various departments.
- Qualifications: High school diploma required; prior administrative experience preferred.
