Position Overview
The flatbed truck driver job you’ve been waiting for is here! As a flatbed truck driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently. Key Responsibilities
- Safely transport freight over long distances using flatbed trucks.
- Secure cargo to ensure safe transport and prevent damage.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the trailer and cargo.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Maintain accurate logs of working hours, distances traveled, and fuel consumption.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery schedules.
Qualifications
To excel in this role, candidates should meet the following requirements:
- Valid Class A CDL (Commercial Driver’s License) with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience driving flatbed trucks.
- Strong knowledge of load securement and safety procedures for flatbed operations.
- Ability to operate heavy machinery and equipment as required.
- Excellent communication skills and customer service attitude.
- Willingness to travel and spend nights on the road as needed.
