Position Overview

The role of HGV Driver is vital to our operations, as you will be responsible for transporting goods across London and beyond. We are looking for candidates who are passionate about driving and committed to maintaining high standards of safety and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities

Safely operate and drive our HGV vehicles to deliver goods to various locations in London and the surrounding areas.
Inspect the vehicle before and after each journey to ensure it is in good working condition.
Complete delivery documentation and ensure that goods are delivered on time and in excellent condition.
Maintain a high standard of driving, ensuring adherence to road safety regulations.
Communicate effectively with dispatch teams and customers regarding delivery schedules and issues.
Provide excellent customer service as you interact with clients upon delivery.
Adhere to company policies and procedures, including those regarding health and safety.

Requirements

Valid HGV Class 2 license (Class 1 preferred).
Driver CPC qualification.
Clean driving record.
Minimum of 2 years’ experience driving HGV vehicles.
Strong knowledge of London’s roadways and traffic regulations.
Ability to operate a variety of vehicles including rigid and articulated trucks.
Excellent communication skills and a customer-oriented attitude.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Physical fitness to handle lifting and loading of goods.
